Winds of Change from the perspective of Staff at SIBM Bengaluru

The phenomenon of change is often unsettling. Hence, many people would like to keep faraway from changes regardless of whether they are big or small. However, change is an intrinsic part of our personal development expedition and thus should always be embraced. I like to consider each individual person as a caterpillar in their cocoon waiting to show into a butterfly. To evolve and to vary may be a part of life and that I think is a very imperative aspect because, without it, our life would be dull.

“Before marriage, I was enjoying life as a daughter but after marriage now I myself have become a mother of a daughter and wife of my husband with responsibilities on my shoulders.” - says Veda, Assistant Coordinator at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru.  She further emphasizes how she embraced the change which came in her way rather than turning a back on it. According to her, each change in one’s career is a call for participation to undertake a new experience or opportunity. These invitations are often declined, but it's essential to think about the advantages a new experience will bring. In the end, taking risks and managing the fiasco are part of life.

“We should always keep up with the change. If any change is needed in our life it is deemed to be for a good reason.” - says Roopa, the juice center owner at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru. She believes that sometimes the bygone can hold us back, but moving on may be a slow and steady process that ought to be nurtured instead of rushed. Those little changes that occur a day stimulate your progress and put you one step further faraway from the bad situation you've got left behind.

“Of all the rights of being a woman, enjoying the greatest one is to be a Mother. The transformation from being a woman to a mother has changed me and my life completely.” - says Vasundhra, Assistant Coordinator at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Bengaluru. She further acknowledges that the change empowers you to become the person you aspire to be. Practicing and enacting change yourself is one of the foremost gratifying processes you will ever experience. It displays a really valuable life skill. If you are ready to distinguish areas in your career that you simply are unhappy with, or need further improvement, having the ability to vary your approach shows a devotion to progression and confidence in your own self.
