Event
The enthusiasm
in the students was at its peak and listening to them was a pleasure for all.
All had geared up for an absolutely delighting and enthralling
speech and the speakers did not disappoint them which was evident from the
healthy discussion from the students end. The students got to
know all about the entrepreneurial skills needed to create a successful venture
and also got to interact with them to take away more tips and tricks to make it
to the top. There was an insightful discussion for over two hours where they
told their real life experiences which gave the MBA students an insight to the
corporate life they are to face soon! Also, their real life experiences aided
students to connect their management principles to real life experiences.
Ms Lourdes Soares, an organizer and a student participant recalls "It was a brilliant opportunity for the
students to interact and understand foreign business culture. The foreign
guests gave the students a window to the world outside India. Foreign lectures
always help broaden perspectives and help one understand and respect the ways
people all over the world think and function. Greg and David previously having
worked in the industry and then having taking the plunge as entrepreneurs by
setting up their own venture gave inspiring views about their experiences.
Entrepreneurship being the central theme gave the students a keen insight into
becoming a successful entrepreneur. Greg and David gave an engaging and
refreshing talk and ensured the batch that it takes not just a dream but guts,
grit and the ability to endure failure to become a successful
entrepreneur."
